For students applying to US universities, the SAT Reasoning Test is mandatory. If you or your student are planning to take the SAT in October, November or December, Brighten's SAT courses can help you realize dramatically higher test scores.

We start with a diagnostic test to gauge the students strengths and weakness.

For the Writing section, Brighten offers a unique insight on how the graders read student essays. We also provide the student with a grammar foundation, as well as a framework for navigating the sections of Improving Sentences and Error Identification.

For the Reading section, our resident SAT expert trains the student to read faster and more effectively. Students taking this course will learn how to distinguish among the tricky answer choices presented to them in this section.

For the Math section, students will be equipped with all the mathematical language to understand the questions. Then, they will learn how to solve problems faster, develop better scratchwork habits, and even learn a couple tricks for the test.

The SAT is a multiple choice test and Brighten teaches students how to utilize the answer choices to their advantage in all sections. Throughout the course, we supplement the student with past SAT tests. Leading up to the test date, we prepare the student like a runner trains for a marathon.

Weekend Course: 120-minute sessions Saturdays and Sundays for 6 weeks

Weekday Course A: 120-minute sessions Tuesdays and Thursday evenings for 6 weeks

Weekday Course B: 90-minute sessions Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for 4 weeks
